Upcoming Climate Events Winter 2025
On January 22, New York Renews will be rallying and lobbying at the New York State Capitol to push their Fund Climate Spending Plan. This program would create grants for clean energy projects, local climate justice initiatives, and repairing substandard housing to limit exposure to toxic materials and indoor air pollution. On January 25, Extinction Rebellion Capital Region will be hosting a community potluck in downtown Albany from 12:30PM to 3PM at the Friends Meeting House in Albany NY. On January 28, Beyond Plastics will meet at the Westminster Presbyterian Church before spending the day lobbying/rallying at the NYS Capitol to pass the plastic Packaging Reduction Act and expand bottle redemption through the Better Bottle Bill. RSVP and more info here.
